Managing Research Data at UPEI

In May 2015 the Tri-agency's new open access policy came into effect, which requires federally funded peer-reviewed research to be freely accessible within 12 months of publication.  The objective of this policy is to improve access to the results of Agency-funded research (Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, & Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada) and to increase the dissemination and exchange of research results.

The Robertson Library, Research Services and ITSS developed  a suite of supports and services for the UPEI research community. The suite of services recognizes that the research data life cycle does not start and end with the final outputs, but rather starts when a scholar thinks about new research. The services available under this site are designed to work with scholars throughout the research data life cycle with the goal of facilitating good data stewardship practices. Review the Terms and Conditions for this service.
